EU FP7 grant application DISCO approved

As a member of the consortium DISCO the chair Technical Biochemistry will take part in the new EU funded research project "From DISCOvery to products: A next generation pipeline for the sustainable generation of high value plant products."

DISCO As a member of the consortium DISCO the chair Technical Biochemistry will take part in the new EU funded research project "From DISCOvery to products: A next generation pipeline for the sustainable generation of high value plant products." Main task will be the discovery of new secondary natural products especially from the family Solanaceae and application of latest analytical tools from the areas of drug screening, genetic profiling, metabolic profiling and metabolic engineering of potential hosts. Actually the consortium headed by Paul Fraser, Royal Holloway and Bedford New College, as coordinator is in negotiation with the EU.
